Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all operational accounting matters of the group companies
• Oversee and ensure compliance with local statutory and legal compliance
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financials, consolidation of group financials, budgeting, costing analysis, management reports and statutory reports
• Conduct financial analysis and commentaries on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Establish and improve financial policies and procedures with appropriate internal controls and measures
• Train and motivate a small team of professional staff
• Work closely with external auditor, tax agents, bankers and corporate secretary
• Spearhead projects whenever required
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
• CPA is preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Group Accounts and supervisory capacity
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, controls and management reporting.
• Mature, highly driven individual who is passionate about the job
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and commitments and proven track record in meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment independently
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
• knowledge in SAP Business One software will be an added advantage
